On 21st November, there was a prize awarding ceremony and convocation at SUA where students who excelled in their studies received prizes and certificates. DSGS is also one of the departments where its students excelled in their studies. Mr Hussein S. Salum received a prize as the best first year student in BSc Agronomy, Mr Raphael Damiano received prizes as the best final year student in BSc Agronomy and Mr Daniel Isdory received a prize as the best MSc student in the College of Agriculture.
