The workshop is facilitated by the School of Aquatic Sciences and Fisheries Technology (SoAF) at the University of Dar es Salaam and supported by WIOMSA. It has brought together seagrass specialists from various institutions including SoAF, IMS, CoNAS(UDSM), Tanzania Fisheries Research Institute (TAFIRI), Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA), MORU, and WCS.
