Delegates from Tokyo Nodai University of Agriculture visited SUA in March 2025 with the aim of evaluating the impact of the global agri-nutrition leader program and explore the future prospects. This is an inter University exchange program with African universities including Sokoine university of Agriculture.The DHNCS took part in facilitating one the program topics on Nutrition and Food Security in Africa which was offered in a hybrid mode among SUA, Jomo Kenyata and Tokyo University of Agriculture students.
In their visit, they had a talk with the SUA management and then visited the department of Human Nutrition and Consumer Sciences so as to learn more about the department and visit to the laboratories. This creates more opportunities for collaboration in research and exchange programs to staff and SUA students.
