The Vice Chancellor has appointed Dr.A.K.Ahmad as Head, Section of Advisory Services, Information, and Networking of the newly established Center for Biofuel Production and Cooking Technology Promotion in Tanzania at SUA. The members of the department oin hands in congratulating him on this achievement.
The members of the department of Agricultural Extension and Community Development as well as those from ICE managed to get an opportunity to receive special training on nutrition-sensitive agriculture, regenerative agriculture, and market-oriented agriculture. The training exposed staff on required field skills on nutrition-sensitive agriculture, regenerative agriculture, and market-oriented agriculture.

Washington State University (WSU) International Development donated a number of office items on 24th June 2022. The US-based NGO transported the items to the department without any cost to the university. A WSU International Development official known as William accompanied the transporter to oversee the whole process.
