What is the meaning of extension in agriculture?

Published on 5th May 2021 Extension in agriculture is an on-going process of getting useful information to people (communication dimension), assisting them to acquire the necessary Knowledge (cognitive domain), Skills (psychomotor domain), and Attitudes (Affective domain) to enable them improve their quality of life.  Knowledge (cognitive domain), Skills (psychomotor domain), and Attitudes (Affective domain) constitute the educational dimension.
