AQUACULTURE-SUA STUDENTS ARE PRODUCING QUALITY AND LOW COST FISH FEED.

Aquaculture-SUA Students are Producing Quality and Low-Cost Fish Feed.

At the Modal Training Farm (MTF)- Aquaculture Section:

Azolla is a cost-effective protein feed for fish and poultry. With up to 35% protein content, Azolla is a fast-growing aquatic fern ideal for farmers seeking affordable feed options. Its rapid growth and nitrogen-fixing ability reduce the need for expensive feeds and industrial fertilizers.

Azolla enhances soil and water quality as a natural biofertilizer. Best fed to fish from 3 months onwards, it’s easily digestible and aids in their growth.

Farmers can grow Azolla locally to cut down on production and transportation costs.

Farmers nationwide are welcome to obtain quality Azolla seeds and learn practical cultivation techniques at our farm.
