Horticulture unit under MODEL FARM DEPARTMENT has established citrus orchard purposely for teaching students and farmers as well as selling produces in the model farm shop, at horticulture unit we grow various citrus fruit such as seedless lemon , seedless lime ( Tahiti variety), oranges such as ( washington navel and late valencia), pomelo, and tangerine.

we use students in managing the orchard for the aim of increasing and building their skills, some of essential managements are cutting back, pruning, heading back, fertilizer application, weeding, pest control and irrigation
