\"May<\/strong>The Department of Agricultural Extension and Community Development<\/strong> warmly congratulates Professor Rasel Madaha<\/strong> on his election as Deputy Chairperson of the Sokoine University of Agriculture Academic Staff Association (SUASA)<\/strong> for the term 2025\u20132027<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This appointment reflects Professor Madaha\u2019s<\/a> longstanding commitment to academic excellence, social responsibility, and institutional development. As outlined in the SUASA Constitution<\/a>, the Deputy Chairperson serves as the principal assistant to the Chairperson and may be called upon to perform any of the Chairperson\u2019s functions, including presiding over meetings and representing the Association in university organs. The role is central to SUASA\u2019s mission of promoting academic freedom, intellectual growth, and the welfare of the university community.<\/p>\n

Professor Madaha\u2019s leadership will be instrumental in advancing SUASA\u2019s objectives, which include fostering academic dialogue, supporting university functions, and enriching the cultural and social life of Sokoine University of Agriculture. His election by the Annual General Meeting\u2014the Association\u2019s supreme policy-making body\u2014demonstrates the trust and respect he commands among his peers.<\/p>\n
