\"CODEPATAOn 26th March 2021, the Department of Agricultural Extension and Community Development received a certificate of recognition. The certificate was proudly granted to the department in recognition of Corporate membership to the Community Development Professional’s Association of Tanzania (CODEPATA).  CODEPATA held its 4th<\/sup> Annual Conference and General Meeting of the Community Development Professional Association of Tanzania from 23rd February 2021 to 26th<\/sup> February 2021. The conference brought together over 400 community development professionals from across Tanzania. They work for local governments, agencies of the central government, NGOs, and the private sector. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Rasel Madaha received the award on behalf of the department. The award was issued to the Department by Hon. Seleman Jafo, Member of Parliament for the Kisarawe constituency. He also serves as Minister of State in the President’s Office \u2013 Regional Administration and Local Government. Hon. Seleman Jafo also acknowledged that he is a classmate of Dr. Madaha. They both graduated from advanced level secondary education at Minaki secondary school. They graduated in 1996. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
