In brief, the Berlin Mission Society (BMS) started working in Eastern Tanzania in 1887. In 1891it began its work in Sourthen Tanzania&#8230;The BMS built churches and houses for the mission&#8217;s expatriate staff to inhabit. They built primary schools, middle schools, and teacher training colleges.
