The Department of Crop Science and Horticulture disseminates sound crop production technologies through;<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Participation in agricultural shows and exhibitions. Each year DCSH participates in Nane nane<\/a> and Tanzania Commission for University (TCU)<\/a> shows<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Publishing of manuals and leaflets<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Organising study visits and tours to the Horticulture Unit<\/a> and the Crop Museum<\/a>. Farmer groups and students from colleges and secondary schools are the main clients.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Offering short term, specialised training to interested farmers<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
