The Department of Animal Science, Aquaculture, and Range Sciences<\/a> is fully participating in the Nane Nane Agricultural Exhibition<\/strong> of the Eastern Zone, held in the Morogoro region. This annual event showcases the latest advancements and innovations in agriculture and livestock production, providing a platform for various stakeholders to exchange knowledge and technologies. <\/span><\/p>\n

The department’s participation highlights their commitment to promoting sustainable agricultural practices, enhancing livestock production, and encouraging aquaculture development both in the region and beyond.<\/span>\u00a0\"\"<\/p>\n

The exhibition officially begins today, August 2, 2024, and culminates on 8th of August, 2024, hence its name “Nane Nane Agricultural Exhibition.”<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"The exhibitions typically features the demonstrations, displays, and presentations on modern farming techniques, animal husbandry, and aquaculture practices, all aimed at improving productivity and sustainability in the livestock sector. This event offers an excellent opportunity for researchers, farmers, and industry professionals to interact and learn from each other, while open up for knowledge sharing and collaborations. It showcases current innovations and demonstrates best practices across all sections of livestock production, aquaculture, and rangeland management.<\/span><\/p>\n

The department warmly invites everyone to visit the Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) booth to explore and learn about advancements in the livestock sector, economic development, and employment creation. Visitors will gain knowledge and insights into various products and services offered by SUA. <\/span><\/p>\n

The booth featured numerous contributions from different departments and partners working with Sokoine University of Agriculture, exhibiting innovations in modern animal and fish farming, diet and nutritional awareness for humans and animals, agricultural machinery operations, development towards precision agriculture, and other latest research findings.<\/span><\/p>\n

Everyone is welcome to gain skills, knowledge, and explore the various exhibits aimed at enhancing agriculture, livestock production, and aquaculture development.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
