The Department of Animal, Aquaculture and Range Sciences<\/a> is pleased to inform the scientific community that, our PhD candidate Mang\u2019era Samwel Mnyoro<\/strong> has successfully defended his PhD today (16th<\/sup> of November, 2022).<\/span><\/p>\n

The tittle of his PhD study is \u201cDEVELOPING A COST-EFFECTIVE RECIRCULATING AQUACULTURE SYSTEM UNIT USING LOCALLY AVAILABLE MEDIA AS BIOFILTERS FOR REMOVING AMMONIA AND NITRITE\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Mnyoro was supervised by Prof. S. W. Chenyambuga (SUA<\/a>), Dr. R. N. Munubi (SUA<\/a>) and Dr. L.F. Pedersen (DTU<\/a>)<\/span><\/p>\n

His research work was highly supported and funded by our partner Building Stronger Universities <\/a>(BSU) project. During his research studies, Dr. Mnyoro managed to publish a number of journal articles and some were submitted for reviews.<\/span><\/p>\n
