She holds a BSc in aquaculture from Sokoine University of Agriculture and an MSc in aquaculture from the University of Can Tho Vietnam. She teaches courses on Fish nutrition, Fish breeding and Propagation, Post-harvest handling and value addition of aquatic products and Introduction to aquaculture. The areas of her research interest include Aquaculture production systems, Aquaculture breeding and propagation and Fish nutrition.
