He has passion and interest in matters of animal health aspects of livestock, pet animals, poultry, and wild ungulates including small stock such as rodents. Furthermore, he has sufficient hands-on experience in research and sciences. Mr, Mlowe is an enthusiastic assistant academician in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coa.sua.ac.tz\/animal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Department of Animal, Aquaculture, and Range Sciences<\/a>, at Sokoine University of Agriculture. He is result-oriented and a team player who believes in moving forward and succeeding together. &#8220;Believing in teamwork spirit and innovation&#8221;. He has sufficient hands-on experience in fieldwork and research.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Mr Mlowe has been involved in Participatory research design preparation, dissemination, and training farmers and livestock keepers on animal feeds by using Integrated Range Management practices to improve their productivity of scarcity of forage during dry seasons in collaboration with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kilimo.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sustainable Agriculture Tanzania<\/a> (SAT). Furthermore, Mr. Mlowe is a trustworthy person who can handle sensitive issues with due respect and confidentiality. He is a very resourceful person as he is professionally mature and his communication skill is good enough to conduct quite a number of projects and innovations. He has also championed innovative ideas and the development of TRIFOD company and He is currently a team leader of TRIFOD products. Important outputs of the project include forage conservation technologies (wooden hay box bailing technology and bag silage making) and community awareness of drought-resistant forage species for climate change adaption in sustainable livestock production is essential for food security and livelihoods in Mela village, Mvomero, Morogoro<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">2021\/2022: Research and knowledge dissemination on Seropositivity of <em>Leptospira<\/em> in Domestic Animals and Rodents in Zanzibar Island, Tanzania. This research project was part of my Master\u2019s dissertation under collaboration and sponsorship by the African Centre of Excellence for Innovative Rodent\u00a0 Pest\u00a0 Management and \u00a0Biosensor Technology Development (ACE II IRPM &amp; BTD) at the Sokoine University of Agriculture, Morogoro, Tanzania. This research served as a roadmap, guiding other research endeavors for effective zoonotic disease management, thereby contributing to public health welfare in Zanzibar.
