The department’s activities in animal husbandry, aquaculture, and range management are essential for supporting a sustainable and responsible industry that provides important benefits for society, including food, fiber, and other animal products.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Department of Animal, Aquaculture, and Range Sciences runs several production units namely Dairy, Sheep and Goats, Poultry, Rabbits, Piggery, fish, and fodder. They play a key role in hands-on training, research, and income generation. Each production unit represents a different aspect of specialized knowledge and skills to manage effectively.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Department has three sections and several units under each section as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n
